Introduction to People’s Hospital of ShangZhou District
(ENGLISH)
People’s
Hospital of Shangzhou District was founded in 1954, Lying in
the east of Shangluo City. It is a county level general
hospital, which is responsible for giving medical treatment
and health care to, and preventing diseases among 54,000
local inhabitants, and offering technical guidance for the
grass-roots
medical units. In 1996, it was conferred the First
Rate Hospital of the Second Level by Ministry of Health. In
1997, it was approved as “Cherishing Children Hospital”
by the children Foundation of the united Nation. And in the
same year, it was agreed as the designated hospital of
medical insurance by Social Security Center of the District.
In 2001, It was conferred the title of Civilized Model
Hospital by the Health Department of Shannxi province and
“the Trusty Hospital” by the Health Department
and Medical union.
The
hospital covers an area of 40mu, with a total floor space of
26,000 sq.m. It has 251 medical staffs (15 with high class
title, 80 with inside class title, 112 with entry-level
title) It comprises 24 departments and 220 hospital beds.
There are more than 40 large advanced medical equipments,
including Ningbo XGY-OPER-0.35T nuclear magnetic resonance,
American Piker 1200Sx whole-body CT scanning machine,
Japanese Olinbas IV fibre gastroscope, Japanese F-820

Crushed stones machine ect. In recent years, under
the leadership of hospital president Chen An-ji, the
hospital committee cooperate sincerely, strengthen
management and are bent on reform. So the hospital has
changed greatly. The environment, equipment and service have
a significant improvement. The famous doctors appear
continuously. In the dept. of surgery, they can carry on the
lung lobe cut-off, curing the esophagus cancer for good, and
cranial tumor and mediastinum tumor operation. In the dept.
of internal medicine, they have special treatment to brain
blood vessel accident, myocardial infarction and heart
failure. In the Dept. of gynecology, they can carry on
operation like Pelvic Tumor, hidden type hysterectomy. Womb
muscle lump and the positive ovary bursa cyst, the modern
style womb cut-open produces, the vagina taking shape. In
the dept. Of traditional Chinese medicine, they have special
therapy to all difficult and complicated cases, and the
patients come from the around seven counties. In the Dept.
of pediatrics, their treatments to Chuanqi illness. Lung
trematode disease and Ruishi Synthesize illness maintain the
higher level all over the country.
